Camphor (Cinnamomum camphora) essential oil is steam-distilled and vacuum-rectified from the wood, root stumps, and branches of camphor trees that must be at least 50 years old to produce oil. Our white camphor oil — the first distillation fraction — is the safest and most therapeutically useful fraction, standardized for 1,8-cineole (38.5%) as the primary active constituent.
