Pure Beeswax — Natural Emulsifier for Candles, Balms & Cosmetics

Herb Dr's beeswax is sourced from responsible apiaries and processed without bleaching, synthetic additives, or chemical treatment. It retains its natural honey scent, golden color, and full emulsifying properties — making it the ideal base ingredient for lip balms, salves, body butters, candles, wood polish, and natural cosmetics.

Why Beeswax Quality Matters

Commercial beeswax is often bleached with hydrogen peroxide or mixed with paraffin to reduce cost. Herb Dr's beeswax is unbleached and unrefined — preserving the natural propolis, pollen traces, and fatty acid profile that make it a superior skin-protective and emulsifying ingredient.

Common Uses & Formulation Rates

  • Lip balms: 20–30% beeswax for firm, protective texture
  • Body salves & balms: 10–20% for a semi-solid consistency
  • Body butters: 5–10% to add structure without greasiness
  • Pillar candles: 100% beeswax for slow, clean burning
  • Container candles: Blend with coconut oil at 80/20 for better scent throw
  • Wood & leather polish: Melt with carnauba wax and carrier oil for a natural finish
